About the fort

Mahuli was a Nizamshahi fort taken by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and later ceded and retaken. The massif carries three linked forts — Mahuli, Bhandargad and Palasgad — and a skyline of pinnacles that includes the well-known Vazir and Navra-Navri.
